Who we are

Aspire Rhythmic Gymnastics Academy was launched in 2015. We are a mid-size club of enthusiastic gymnasts that currently range from beginners through to Level 3.

Aspire is an affiliated club to Gymsports NZ. Our Gymnasts are able to trial to represent the North Harbour Region at the Nations Gymsports Championships which are help annually for gymnasts throughout New Zealand.

We train at the Table Tennis Centre, Akoranga Drive, Northcote, on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

Our club accepts female gymnasts from age 4½ years to late teens.

Rhythmic Gymnastics is a combination of dance and gymnastics and the use of apparatus such as hoop, rope, ball, ribbon and clubs all set to music. The sport promotes coordination and flexibility, as well as developing body strength. It also encourages pride and confidence in the girls as they master their routines and perform individually at competitions from April to October.

New gymnasts are welcome to trial and start at any time throughout the year. First time gymnasts need to register and book a trial session.
